I would love to have a way to make materials on my teacher laptop and then send it out to the students to have them do it on their laptops. If anyone knows how to do something like this please let me know. I think there is so much we can do with the laptops if we have someone give us the tools. I know that my kids have really taking to writing now that they are able to use the laptops.
Hi Anthony- We are starting to work with Moodle for classrooms, in many of the same ways you are seeing here. You (or students) can post a discussion question and then the students can respond. Mark Bryant, one of the Technology Coaches, has been really working hard with us on this. I bet your students will really enjoy responding through a class Moodle.
Besides using the Moodle to setup your class and post assignments, etc. You will be able to use email once we have generated student email within SUSD. Either method will help with classroom collaboration between teacher and students or student to student.
