This is a great question. I remember talk was going around about this. But i never heard anything on follow up. I wish I had asked Mr. Baca today. This is a great idea and something that would enhance teacher-student communication. It would also facilitate student membership in web-based applications. This seems like the only safe way to do this but an absolute necessity. What do you think we can do about it?
I heard that students were going to be given email accounts but not gmail accounts. This would be unfortunate because gmail has much more storage space and students have a lot more tools to use if they have a gmail account. Hopefully, whoever is making this decision will decide on gmail.
