The second week of school our 3rd-5th grade students have been learning about Trustworthiness and Respect! Our third grade students have created their own graphic organizer and discussed examples of trustworthiness and respect with their partners while taking notes on the topics. Older students begin their lesson with a video from the "Minions" movie and then discuss what it means to be RELIABLE, HONEST, AND KEEPING A PROMISE.
Our sixth grade students have focused on learning their 'true colors." This is a personality quiz that helps student recognizes their own strengths and abilities while understanding how to interact with others. They have also taken surveys about their learning styles and had discussion surrounding what efforts would give them the most benefit while studying.
