1. Where would you place these lesson plans within the matrix?
I'd put it as being in the adoption level, since students are using the tools themselves however they are not really creating or doing any sort of original work. Students also are working at the constructive level because they are using their prior learning from class in order to build deeper understanding using new tools.
2. How could you modify or enhance these lessons in order to increase both the integration levels of technology within the classroom as well as improving the characteristics of the learning environment?
I think having students simply use google translate to hear the verbs is great, but it doesn't really force them to use the terms. I'd encourage them to also use the new vocabulary in some sense, perhaps by working on some sort of collaborative writing project on google docs or something similar.
