I think this is a great question, to which I don't have an answer. We had a student responsible for cracking a screen in a netbook, but there was nothing written that specifically addresses that issue. I would like more things spelled out in the matrix to address misuse of technology. Also, what would a teacher do if a student was unable to have his or her laptop because of a misuse situation? It would add a lot of work to a teacher's load to make adjustments for that one student.
