Google Docs provides the opportunity for users to create and collaborate on documents digitally. A learning management system makes it possible to house and share that information in an organized fashion. This session will highlight the features of both of these systems and illustrate how Sunnyside Unified School District has coupled them to help rollout the ELA Common Core Standards. The participants of this session will leave with an appreciation of the strengths of Google Docs’ collaborative features as well as Sunnyside’s Learning Management System. It will also give them the skills and knowledge to assist them in replicating the use of Google Docs for collaboration and resource sharing within their own setting.
