The goal of this course is to develop a deeper understanding of the Arizona State Standards in technology as correlated with the AZ K-12 Center Technology Integration Matrix. Teachers will be able to view and dissect model lessons, model lesson plans, and technological resources in order to identify 3 major technological applications they will begin to use in their 1:1 classrooms next year. Resources that will be introduced but are not limited to are the AZ Dept of Education Technology Standards, AZ K-12 TIM, SUSD Moodle, Microsoft Office, Beyond Textbooks, and other Web 2.0 classroom resources. Teachers will then be given the opportunity to work in small groups to explore these resources in a workshop environment and create lesson plans which can be applied to their 1:1 5th grade classrooms.
