Expectations for Sierra 2-8 School 6th grade Success: In order for students to be successful we must work together in a unity of three; meaning teachers, parents and students. Teachers will facilitate and direct instruction, be an advisor, provide tutoring as needed and keep open communication with both the student and parent. Parents will ensure student completes assignments at home, checks planner daily and communicates with teachers regarding concerns. Students will be a productive member of their class, write daily objective, complete assigned work, ask when assistance is needed, and to be respectful. If we have this unity, we will have a very successful year.
6th grade Social Studies is the study of people, places, and events from early man to the Age of Exploration.
