Orchestra students at Gallego Intermediate Fine Arts Magnet are truly fortunate to be in a large, supported, and vibrant orchestra program. There are four orchestras, including a 4th grade exploratory orchestra.

The dance program at Gallego Intermediate Fine Arts Magnet consists of four units of instruction delivered over the course of one year (6th, 7th, and 8th graders) and one quarter (4th and 5th graders).
- Explore – Introduction to dance history and styles, including modern, ballet, jazz, and hip-hop
- Beginning – Modern, Ballet, Jazz, and World Dance Styles
- Intermediate – Modern II, Ballet II, Tap, and Jazz
- Advance – Modern III, Ballet III, Jazz/Hip Hop, and Choreography
